A New Chapter
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Tom moved to New York in his twenties to pursue a career in Finance. After a very successful time at Lehman Brothers in New York and Los Angeles he moved to UBS in LA where he continued his career in Private Wealth Management.
After 25 exciting years he decided to pursue a new journey and follow his passion of blending finance and creativity to create Tom Barry Luxury Homes in Lisbon, Portugal. His timing was fortunate as the Lisbon real estate market and the country in general has been on an upward trend ever since.
There he enjoys spending time with his family and three young boys, and on his many passions of golf, ocean swimming, kick boxing and learning a new passion to sing Opera.
A Passion to create and share a dream
A lifelong passion for the arts, design and architecture moved him to build a company focused on building beautiful homes in some of the most attractive and desirable locations in Cascais. Surrounded by its exquisite light, the ocean and the mountains Cascais turned out to be a stimulating choice.
Tom is passionate about creating homes that families will want to live in. Where families will be raised, where memories will be created and stories will be told. That comes with the
responsibility to build to the highest standards with the best team of Architects, Builders, Project Managers, Landscape Architects and other partners. Making sure that the team is
communicating and pulling in the same direction is his daily goal.
